Our Team

Dr. Grune, APRN graduated from the University of Hawaii, Hilo in 2016. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Since graduating, she has been working with Hilo physicians to integrate patient-centered, chronic, and comprehensive care management into their practices

She has 28 years of healthcare experience, including Emergency and Trauma Nursing, Quality Management, and Hospital Administration. Her doctoral studies focused on how a provider could meet and exceed the national requirements for quality health care considering healthcare systems and insurance challenges. Park Wellness was born of this research.

Originally from O’ahu, Big Island has been home for 12 years. In her downtime, Dr. Grune enjoys time with family, travel, and a good glass of red wine (it’s heart-healthy!).

Dr. Kinilau was born and raised on Honolulu, Hawaii. She attended the University of Hawaii at Hilo where she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies. She attained both her PharmD and B.A.P.S. degrees from the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy in 2019.

Dr. Kinilau manages our Vaccine Program and Remote Patient monitoring Program which allows patients to take their vitals from the comfort of their own home while we can monitor and manage their needs here at our office. She strives to help make quality health care more accessible to our patients.

During her free time, she enjoys canoe paddling and Polynesian dancing. This allows her to stay active and live a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the workout in between. She also enjoys learning and expanding her knowledge about plant derived medicine as it continues to evolve and being that resource for patients who have an interest in a natural approach to healthcare.
